Hunting Guide License (anugyapatra)

(1) The concerned district
forest controller may issue a hunting guide license to any person on the
basis of the following criteria by taking the fees as pursuant to Schedule
-1 and such hunting guide license issuing officer shall send one copy of
such license to the chief :–
(a) If it has been realized that the applicant is
acquainted with the wildlife or bird hunting within
the area where he/she has been desiring to work.
(b) If it has been realized that the applicant has
knowledge of the Act and the Rules framed under
the Act as well as he/she is competent to perform
the job of a hunting guide.
(2) The person obtaining the hunting guide license pursuant to
Sub-rule (1) shall be allowed to perform the job of guiding the hunters
only in a district or the districts prescribed in the license.
(3) The Chief or any officer assigned by the Government of
Nepal for that job if deemed necessary, he/she may prescribe additional
terms and restrictions that has to be followed by the person receiving the
hunting guide license as pursuant to Sub-rule (1) and such licensee shall
not be allowed to hunt any wildlife even in any circumstances except for
self protection or to stop the wounded wildlife from escaping, which has
been injured by the person obtaining the hunting license.
